26 January 2018
In 2017 we completed a turn-key project for a well-known food supplier based in Kent. The AHU featured an MVHR unit providing tempered fresh air to a main supply AHU featuring a DX heat pump coil. The main purpose of the system was to provide fresh air to process area within a factory and maintain a space temperature of 14oC.
The MVHR unit had a 75% efficient plate heat exchanger with a face and bypass damper for free cooling. The exchanger is Eurovent certified, TUV certified and Hygiene certified.
The fans are high efficiency IE4 EC with integrated inverters and balanced to meet max vibration level 4.5mm/s RMS at maximum rotational frequency is accordance with ISO 14694.
As a Trend Approved Partner we manufactured and supplied fully packaged units with an IQ4E controller. The IQ4E supports BACnet over IP as standard.
The units were supplied with a remote Trend IQview8 display so that the end user could control the equipment from ground level.
All units are in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) No 1253 / 2014 (ERP 2018).
Both units were delivered as single piece suitable for lifting onto a mezzanine. ECE worked alongside the contractor to ensure the units were manoeuvred in a safe manner and the install was satisfactory for all parties.
The units were turned around in five weeks from the order date.
